A Sophisticated Mommy is running another great giveaway. This time she teamed up with Playful Peanut to offer this wonderful giveaway. One of the neatest things about this giveaway? They are local to me! I have actually purchased from these ladies from a festival last summer.
I bought a toddler belt and it's great quality and I received wonderful service. I'm hopeful that I will see them again at one of the local craft shows this holiday season as there are a few more items that I'd love to buy from them.

Another Giveaway!
The lovely Stacey of Not Just Baby Brain is running another great giveaway!
Here you can read about Milk Nursingwear, a great company that sells everything from nursing bras to nursing dresses. I am a huge fan of nursing tanks and they have a great variety on their site.

Another Great Giveaway!
This post from the fabulous Stacey at Not Just Baby Brain outlines her latest giveaway from a fantastic etsy store called Lil Punkin Creations. I'm very pleased to say I've purchased from this store before. I bought some wall decals for the polka dot border in the baby's room and I've bought a birthday banner with a photo progression banner. I proudly displayed them at girlie's birthday on the weekend and got tons of compliments.
Highly recommend her store so check out this great giveaway!

Giveaway!
This post from fellow Canadian mom blogger Not Just Baby Brain is running a giveaway from Seventh Generation. While I've never purchased from them, I've long been interested in their products. I don't know why I've never purchased.
I joined the Seventh Generation nation and printed out a coupon for free wipes with purchase of diapers. Coupons and being more environmentally friendly, perfect!

Toy Giveaway!
Every little girl needs her own person. In this post here, fellow mom blogger Not Just Baby Brain is running a giveaway for pink toy purse. She notes that this toy has an age of 3 months and up. But you can see in her pics that both her girls (5 months and a two year old) both like it. So it's one of those toys that can really grow with a little girl and even though it's a "baby" toy, toddlers will enjoy it as well.
Check it out!

Giveaway!
Fellow Canadian mommy blogger Not Just Baby Brain is running another giveaway. This post outlines her t-shirt review from Costume Squad and subsequent giveaway. With Halloween coming up faster than I'm sure most people think, a gift card for a cool costume or a sweet t-shirt would go a long way seeing as I won't be working ;)

A Giveaway for Mommy!
A Sophisticated Mommy has had more great giveaways than I can count for cool stuff for baby. I've been lucky enough to win one of her baby related giveaways. This time she has a giveaway for the sophisticated mommy. In this post she did a review of the Canadian cosmetic company Mistura Beauty Solutions. As someone always on the lookout for natural looking and easy to use makeup this is for sure a line that I will be looking into.

Another Cool Giveaway!
I love books. I'm not much into reading for myself very much these days, but every night before bed I snuggle with my little girl and we read a book. Well I read aloud, she turns the pages every once and awhile. So that's why this giveaway from Ashley at Tales of Mommyhood is so cool to me. She did a review for Little Green Books. Not only are they printed on 100% recycled paper, but their books are about recycling and endangered species and how to be eco-friendly. Awesome!!

Very Interesting Giveaway
Tales of Mommyhood is running a very interesting giveaway. She reviewed some products from a Canadian company called Ever Bamboo. Reading her review, I also had no idea there were so many uses for bamboo. It's what panda's eat and apparently it makes a wonderful fabric. But this company makes deodorizers from bamboo! Amazing!
I normally just use baking soda for my fridge but I think I'm going to have to give this a shot.

Summer Giveaway
Check out this post on Tales of Mommyhood. She is running a giveaway from BabyBanz. Like her I knew them for their sunglasses(which my kid just.wont.wear) but they also have UV swimsuits, hats and sunscreen! So important for us and especially the little ones.

Goodbyn Pics
By request I have some pics of the Goodbyn lunch kit that was part of my True Cuddles Prize pack.
You'll notice in one of the pictures there is a bottle cap and another there is a paint "edit" These are just to cover the first letter of our last name.
The Goodbyn came with a bunch of stickers to personalize it. I've put baby's name on the kit as well as the bottle for daycare purposes. The stickers are fun and are shaped like animals and foods. I also thought it was very cool that one of the stickers is an "I AM ALLERGIC TO:" sticker.
Without further ado.....
Pic of the outside with lid on
Lid next to the open kit, you can see the grooves on the inside of the lid and where the bottle goes
Inside of the kit with no bottle. You can see all the different compartments for different parts of lunch
Close up of the bottle
I found this interesting. On the paper packaging of the kit, they include a suggestion of what can go into the different compartments. It's something I kept to refer back to for when I actually need to use this thing. I'm slightly terrified about the whole lunch prospect so I'm hoping it will inspire me when I'm having a d'oh moment on what to give my kid for lunch ;) I've made this pic bigger so you can read the writing. You'll also note that it says 5+ but it's not there are small choking hazards here so I'll be ignoring that.

More Giveaways
On Not Just Baby Brain, another great Canadian mom blog I follow, she is having an awesome giveaway that I'm sure my hubby would appreciate. Here is the link to her giveaway from Nachomamatees, a cool t-shirt company that screens it's tee's with all sorts of random sayings, some of them throwbacks to the good old days and some with stuff from recent pop culture. They have a shirt with a screening of the wagon from the original Oregon Trail that says you died of dysentery. There are lots with funny zombie stuff and Chuck Norris. They have girl's sizes as well. Super cool!

More Great Giveaways!
A Sophisticated Mommy is having another amazing giveaway. This is a link to her review of the Kidco Peapod. It's a very intriguing item. We aren't big campers, but we do some traveling and we don't have(nor do I really want) to buy a play yard. We always just co-slept but somebody wants to sleep in her own bed now so I don't really know where to put her. This would be pretty cool.

I Actually Won!
In this post, I wrote about a giveaway that fellow mom blogger A Sophisticated Mommy was running. I ended up winning! It was a prize pack from True Cuddles one of many deal a day sites that is Canadian and offers unique baby products.
The main prize was a litterless lunch box from Goodbyn filled with products. The Goodbyn itself is super cool. It's made from BPA and phthalte free plastic and is 100% recyclable when the time comes. It is sectioned off so that each food item has it's own little cubby hole so you don't need to use plastic bags to put crackers, sandwiches, chips, whatever in. It also comes with a bottle for water or juice. Very neat and it is now waiting for daycare to start.
I got an amber teething necklace from The Teensy Teethers. I had always wanted one but never really bothered to buy one. Amber is a traditional remedy for teething children that has anti-inflammatory properties that help to reduce teething symptoms. My poor girlie is presently cutting three teeth with a fourth right behind so hopefully this will help her out as her gums are really hurting her.
There was also a pair of BabyLegs, but these are tights and are cool. They are UV rated to 50 and are a bit more of a mesh material to allow the breeze to hit the legs. I have a pair of hand made knockoffs and they have been great for protecting her knees from the carpet that she now takes pleasure in crawling around on. But they have been too hot for her in the 30+ degree heat(Celsius) so these will be great.
Finally, they included a pair of Bugalug hair clips. Bugalug is a Canadian company that makes all sorts of hair accessories. The ones I received are simple ribbon non slip clips. I haven't tried them in her hair yet but they look like they will even work on my kid's very fine, short hair.
Overall I was really happy with what I received. It was well packaged and arrived very quickly. I was announced the winner on the 3rd and was contacted by True Cuddles the same day(quite late I might add!) for my mailing info and got the package(mailed from over 2000 km away) in my mailbox today. Very happy and I am now on their mailing list for their cuddle of the day. I expect to purchase from them in the future.
