I've been trying for months now to get my stubborn kid to take a sippy cup. Each time I was met with her banging it around getting water all over the place. Monumentally frustrating. I could kinda get her to share a bottle of water with me so I just let it go for a few weeks.
Then yesterday at my mom group, she showed some interest in the sippy cups the boys had. These ones had straws. So I thought why not give it a shot. I had one at home with a straw but I never bothered to try it with her because I figured it was too big for her.
It worked! She actually drank from a sippy cup! I'm going to try to find a smaller one with a straw and handles so that she can hold it herself, but other than that, SUCCESS!
